Every
CNC operator knows that the CNC router with stepper drive system
has risk of losing step. This error is due to the stepper working principle. So,
when one day our machines appear error of losing step, what should we do to
solve it? All the reasons may cause this error is listed in following, what we
need to do is to check them one by one.
Possible
Reason 1. Most reasons of losing step is from the un-proper parameters of speed
and acceleration.
Solution:
Please decrease feeding speed, reduce value of step down, and increase RMP of
spindle.
Possible
Reason 2. The error is caused by connection loose of transmission parts such as
ballscrew coupler or
timing belts.
Solution:
Please fix the loosen parts well.
Possible
Reason 3. Computer virus or U disk virus may destroy the order of the file code
and leads to error of lost step.
Solution:
Please remove the virus from computer and U disk. And reinstall the operating
software of cnc router machine.
Possible
Reason 4.
The
losing step error is caused by unstable power supply.
Solution:
Please equip one power stabilizer for your cnc router.
Possible
Reason 5. It is from the computer.
Solution:
Please change another computer for operating the machine.
