NC Studio Software V8 Cannot Been Installed Successfully

CNC system Weihong Lambda 4S is widely used on nesting cnc router, auto tool changing cnc router and multi spindle rotary cnc router. Full set system consist of these parts. 

One piece lambda 4S controller 

One piece DB9M/F cable

One piece communication card PM serial

One set NC studio motion control software CD

One piece handwheel (optional as your request)

Lambda 4S controller is mounted in electronic cabinet to control the components; Communication card is inserted into PCI card slot of the computer; the NC studio software is installed in the computer operating system. If everything ok, motion software sends order to Lambda 4S controller via the PM communication card and controller control the axis motion via relevant components. But sometimes, when the first time to setup the control system, we will encounter problem that the NC studio motion control software can not been installed successfully in windows operating system. Please see picture below

What reason causes it happen? 

It is probably because your windows system is incompatible with the NC studio software. In windows, you cannot install a driver if its digital signature can’t be verified by windows. This means that all drivers and programs must be digitally signed (verified) in order to be installed and run on latest Windows Operating Systems. It is self-protection mechanism of windows operating system. Due to some reasons, the NC studio software cannot be verified by the latest operating system because its update always later than the operating systems’. So this problem happened. In this case, best solution is to use an older version system instead of the latest version. Our experience is that NC studio software V8 can run very well on windows 7 system 32 bit.

If it is impossible for some users to change windows system, we can have a second alternative. That is to disable Driver Signature Enforcement in Windows. But please noted that this action is a security risk and you must disable it only if you are sure the driver software or program that you want to install and run is trusted and legal.

Operation guide:

Reboot the computer. Press 'F8' during restart. 

Select Disable Driver Signature Enforcement from the boot menu.

What Causes The CNC Router Spindle Bearing Broken?

The electric spindle is one of the most important parts of the cnc router machine. Bearings and motors are the two most important parts of the electric spindle. According to our past experience, the motor is not easy to damage, and the first major reason caused spindle stop is from its bearing. So, bearing quality determines the spindle quality. This is also the main difference between a good spindle and a common spindle. Here is the question. What would cause damage to spindle bearing? How to take care of it in operation? 1) Electric spindle is using a set of poor quality bearing. And the life of this bearing will be reduced largely when spindle runs at a high RPM. That’s why it is easy to get broken. At present, the price of electric spindle on the market is largely different. It is possible that some spindle products with low price is using the bearing like this. Once you purchase this spindle, you will find that the purchase cost is relatively low, but the cost to use it is particularly high.

2) Water cooling system isn’t working well. Water cooling spindle is cooled via water circle system. If water cooling system not in good status or we forget to turn on it, there will be hot effect and further results in friction increased. Big friction causes damage to bearing. After the spindle begins to work, the first thing is to check the water circulation is working well. We have to take care of this step during machining operation.

3) Incorrect operation. Some operator make machine start cutting before the spindle RMP reach the max value; some operator doesn’t set proper speed according to different materials. All these factors will damage the bearing.

4) In winter or in some areas where the temperature is very cold, it is necessary to take proper action to prevent the water cooling spindle from freezing. It is very common the water hose damage because the water freezing. In this case, we suggest operator to use anti-freeze fluid instead of water.

3. Edge Banding Machine

c. Semi automatic edge banding machine: about 5,000 U.S. dollars

d. Automatic edge banding machine: more comprehensive function, the price is about 12000 U.S. dollars, high efficiency.

4. Drilling Equipment

a. Semi-automatic gang drill

It is the equipment which is widely used, such as double row gang drill, three-row, four-row and so on. In operation, it needs to adjust size of hole.

b. CNC drilling machine

It can be matched with nesting cnc router. CNC drilling machine is special for purpose of side hole drilling. It can automatically recognize the correct position of hole drilling via infrared ray.

c. CNC P.T.P machining center

It can automatically recognize the position of hole drilling via scanning bar code. When making cabinet, CNC P.T.P machining center can drill holes on five faces include top and four sides; also can do slotting. When making cabinet doors, it can do routing and carving works.
